Filter-press是指滤挤压机，是一种机械装置，用于液体在压力下经过多孔板滤网过滤，把灰尘、污染物以滤液和固体滤渣分离的工艺过程。它是一种把悬浊液变成清澈液体或者固体颗粒分离的设备，具有功能齐全、操作简单、成本低、维修方便等优点，应用非常广泛。

Filter-press主要由机结构和滤板组成，机结构以联动装置连接，滤板以胶糊夹紧，使滤板没有漏液现象，可以在同一个容器内把悬浊液和固体颗粒分离的生产设备。

Filter-press的工作原理如下：在一个封闭的容器内，压力液体通过多个滤板从上至下，把悬浊液和固体颗粒分开，悬浊液从滤孔处滤出，清澈液体在滤板下沉，污染物固体颗粒因为大小不一，经滤板滤筛出来，收集滤渣，然后可以把滤渣从机体容器里排出。
