desirous是一个形容词，意思是希望、渴望、急切期望的，常用于表达期望的情感或动机的观念。
一、词义解释
Desirous有两层意思：第一层意思是有渴望，渴望实现某一事物，即心里有想要拥有的渴望。第二层意思是准备就绪，想要实现，即准备好把手中的事物实现出来。

Desirous与yearn，aspire以及long都有渴望的意思，但是它们有区别：
