Desalination指的是海水淡化技术，是将含盐的高渗海水处理成低盐的低渗海水的过程。它通常也称为海水淡化或海水脱盐。海水淡化技术可以将海水中的盐离子去除，获得清洁的可饮用水，从而解决人类生活中的缺水问题。
