compared的用法详解
compared是一个表示“比较”的动词，可以接介词with，to等后接宾语，表示“比较：与………相比”的意思。
一、compared with
1、compared with引出两者的比较，说明后者的优缺点，表示“与……相比”的意思，其句型为：
A + be + compared + with + B（= A is compared with B）
例如：
His English is poor compared with hers.
他的英语比她的差。
2、也可以表示“与……相比算是”，其句型为：
A + compared + with + B + be + 形容词
例如：
The weather today is not bad compared with yesterday.
今天的天气比昨天算是不错的。
二、compared to
1、compared to表示把前者与后者形象地比作，表示“把……比作……”的意思，其句型为：
A + be + compared + to + B（= A is compared to B）
例如：
He was compared to a lion.
人们把他比作一只狮子。
2、也可以表示“某事物在某方面与另一物比较”，其句型为：
A + compared + to + B + 动词
例如：
This new book compared to the old one is much better.
