Chemotherapy是医学上一种治疗方法，它通过药物来治疗某些疾病。在药物治疗中，药物可以直接地攻击和抑制癌症细胞进而治疗癌症，因此也叫作抗癌药物治疗或抗癌药物疗法（anticancer drug therapy）。
Chemotherapy也常应用于一些其他的疾病的治疗，像是癫痫，痨，风湿病等等。在常用的癫痫治疗方法中，常常结合之前所说的抗癌药物治疗，以充分打击这样一类疾病。
