be at是系动词，表示处在某种状态或进行某种活动，常搭配下列形容词：work, school, church, home, play, war等。
一、be at work
be at work表示“正在上班”，常搭配形容词hard来表示“正在努力工作”：
He is usually at work all day, as he works very hard.
他通常一整天都在上班，因为他工作非常努力。
二、be at school
be at school表示“正在上学”：
My son is at school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day.
