英语词组as far as表示“到目前为止，就……而言”，用来表示程度、范围、数量某个程度的范围或时间范围。它和so far的区别是：so far的用法主要表示到目前为止，而as far as的用法表示就某某方面，到目前为止。另外，as far as后面要跟名词、代词或从句。
as far as常用来表达比较、对比和观点中的折中，其逻辑关系是“就……而言，就……而言”。
