Airborne pollution is man-made or natural substances released into the atmosphere which can result in damaging effects on the environment, wildlife and human health.

This can include steps such as improving vehicle maintenance, reducing the amount of fossil fuels burned, increasing fuel efficiency, and avoiding activities that increase emissions. Additionally, improvements in air filtration and air vents can help reduce levels of airborne pollution indoors.
