The Central Selling Organization的网络常见释义

中央售机构 A diamond the size of your little fingernail can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. But there is no shortage of them. The price of diamonds, however, has been kept artificially high by control of the supply. Until recently the market was controlled by one company: De Beers. The British-based South African mining company owned the Big Hole at Kimberley in South Africa, the first mine in the world where diamonds were mined on an industrial scale. As more and more diamonds came on stream from Africa and elsewhere, De Beers bought the mines or forced their owners to regulate supply and sell only to the De Beers marketing organization, the Central Selling Organization.
